PMAY Uttar Pradesh: – Yogi Adityanath said that the government of Uttar Pradesh is aiming to provide 10,00000 houses in rural areas and 2,00000 houses in Urban areas Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister of UP Yogi Aditynath said, ”We are aiming to provide 10 Lakh houses in rural and 2 Lakh houses in urban areas under PM Awas Yojana.”
In rural areas, the government will provide Rs 1.20 lakh for construction houses to the beneficiaries and government will also provide Rs 12,000 for constructing a toilet. In urban areas government will provide Rs 2,50,000 for constructing houses, in Rs 2.50 lakh state government will give Rs 1,00000 and central government will give Rs 1,50,000.
The state government has shortlisted 5,129 families in urban areas to give house. The Chief Minister said, ” In rural areas, Rs 1.20 Lakh will be given for houses, Rs 12,000 for toilets and Rs 15,700 extra to people who make houses by themselves,”
Yogi Aditynath also said, “48,00,000 people in rural UP do not have houses. We are aiming to build 10,00,000 houses there under PM Awas Yojana this year.” In July the Chief Minister announced that the UP government’s plan to provide a roof to people of the state in a public meeting under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The chief Minister said within a year government is trying to build about 10 lakh house under PMAY Uttar Pradesh to provide home those people who do not have a house. According to the government, about 48 lakh people do not have a house to stay.
