More Welfare scheme to be launched in Telangana by next financial year
Good news – As Telangana state government is going to offer more govermrnt schemes by the this financial year. Welfare schemes in addition to the existing schemes to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore in the budget proposal for 2017-18. All the departments that are included under mass government scheme are state Agriculture department, Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, Women Welfare and Child Development, Endowments, Rural Development, Social Welfare and other departments looking after minority, SC and ST.Under this schemes such as pension for a single woman, financial assistance to weavers community and special development schemes for sheepherders, aqua farmers and other traditional occupants schemes are included which will be launched in the next financial year in the state.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has taken the decision to introduce the new schemes in the recent meetings held with all the BC Federations, Weaver’s organizations, and communities engaged in the traditional occupations. According to him almost 20 new government schemes will be launched in the state under the financial year. The work is in progress.
Funds will be allocated by Chief Minister Rao for the schemes in the final meetings beginning from 27th February. The district Collectors have been directed to furnish the details of the beneficiaries under each scheme in two days.
An additional burden of Rs 3,000 crore would have to bear by the state exchequer in 2017-18 after the enforcement of the new schemes and the total expenditure to be spent on flagship welfare programs may increase to nearly Rs 35,000 crore. So total money might be Rs 35,000 crore that will be spend under this scheme.
