The central government approved the online application for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Now all the poor who do not have shelter can apply online for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi ambitious housing scheme.
PMAY Uttar Pradesh: – Uttar Pradesh government has decided to construct 1,00,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for urban poor people. The state government will take a loan of Rs 1,000 crore from HUDCO. The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved the proposal of build one lakh houses in the Council of Ministers on Tuesday.
Odisha government has announced rewards if housing beneficiary complete the work within four months, the government will give Rs 20,000 extra as an incentive. The state government has set a target to complete 6,00,000 houses under different rural housing scheme during the current financial year. This decision is taken in a review meeting of the rural housing schemes under PMAY which is led by the Chief Secretary AP Padhi.
PMAY Uttar Pradesh: – Yogi Adityanath said that the government of Uttar Pradesh is aiming to provide 10,00000 houses in rural areas and 2,00000 houses in Urban areas Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister of UP Yogi Aditynath said, ”We are aiming to provide 10 Lakh houses in rural and 2 Lakh houses in urban areas under PM Awas Yojana.”
Now the buyer of the home has to more time to apply for the DDA Housing Scheme. On Wednesday DDA has extended the applying date till September 11. DDA has also give relax on the forfeited clause on the surrendering of the house by the allottees.

Now Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will construct the residential flats as per the specification prescribed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). According to DDA’s Principal commissioner (Land and Housing) J. P Agarwal, the uniformity in the construction standards of residential flats in the national capital will be fixed in the next scheme.
The state government of Tamil Nadu is going to build 2,66000 Affordable Houses with the partnership of private agencies. The affordable housing scheme will be built for the slum dwellers. The central government has approved 22,384 housing units by the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee meeting held recently. 12,000 more units for the slum dwellers will be built on land availability.
Under the PMAY Rural, 7404 pucca houses will be built in the district. There will be separate money for the toilet. Under the Ujjwala scheme free gas connection will be given and under the Deendayal Rural Electrification Project, free electricity connections will be provided with gas. Open meetings are being held in village Panchayats for the selection of its beneficiaries. 806 people have been selected.
Under the PM Awas Yojana, people living in Slum Area will not be able to fill the online form, the online form will be filled visiting the house. Recently, the municipal corporation has received orders in this regard from the Central Government. This work will be handed over to the private agency who looking the work of the PM Housing Scheme. Employees of the agency will go to Slum Area and fill the online form on the spot. The tablet will be used to fill online forms.
