Indira Canteen scheme has been launched by the Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday. This is the state government initiative named the canteen on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The scheme aims to provide food at lost cost t the urban poor. The canteen is situated at Kanakanapalya in Jayanagar, a posh locality of the Bengaluru. The canteen also started in 101 others locality of the city on Wednesday.
Manaswini Scheme Karnataka
The state Government of Karnataka has started Manaswini Scheme for the divorced or unmarried women in association with revenue department. In this scheme, women who are either unmarried or divorcee and fall under the below the poverty line are eligible for the pension under Manaswini. After this scheme, unmarried or divorcee women above 65 years of age are eligible for financial support under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme. State government took very good initiative and this scheme helps unmarried & divorcee women financially which is directly helping them to make their life easy
Shaadi Bhagya Scheme
The chief minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah (Government of Karnataka) has launched Shaadi Bhagya Scheme in October 2013.In this scheme, the beneficiaries get Rs. 50,000 as a financial assistance from the state government.
Ksheera Bhagya Scheme Karnataka
On 1st Aug 2013 by the state Government of Karnataka in association with Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Ltd. (KMF) & all its milk union for school and anganwadis children’s in the state launched Ksheera Bhagya Scheme. the government provides free milk to the school & anganwadi children’s for five days in a week.
Krishi Bhagya Scheme Karnataka
