RPL launched under PMKVY 2.0 by IL&FS Skills
IL&FS Skills Development Corporation Ltd (IL&FS Skills) have launched RPL ( Recognition of Prior Learning )under Kaushal Vikas Yojana which is a joint initiative of IL&FS Education & National Skills Development.Note that Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a Programme Initiative under which aims to provide traning to the youth of India under several training programme. This was organised in Faridabad.
The ceremony of launch of Recognition Of Prior Learning training programme was attended by senior members of Apparel Made-ups & Home furnishing Sector Skill Council, Managing Director & senior management of Shivalik Prints, Editor in Chief of Apparel Online magazine, IL&FS Skills team & candidates to be trained under this programme.
Under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana aim of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is to align the competencies of the unregulated workforce of the country to National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), which is a competency-based framework that organizes all qualifications according to a series of levels of knowledge, skills and aptitude. RPL is a platform to provide recognition to the informal learning or learning through work to get equal acceptance as the formal levels of education.

Il&Fs was Launched in 2007, at the behest of industry that was looking for trained and work-ready manpower, this is India’s one of the largest vocational training company. Started as a pilot skill development program in textile sector, today IL&SFS Skills has an annual training capacity of 0.15 million people through 200+ skill development institutes across 24 states and 100+ job roles. IL&FS Skills, a joint initiative with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC), with a mandate to train 40 lakh people by 2022.
