IL&FS Skills Development Corporation Ltd (IL&FS Skills) have launched RPL ( Recognition of Prior Learning ) under Kaushal Vikas Yojana which is a joint initiative of IL&FS Education & National Skills Development. Note that Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a Programme Initiative under which aims to provide training to the youth of India under training programme organized in Faridabad.
The ceremony of the launch of Recognition Of Prior Learning programme was attended by senior members of Apparel Made-ups & Home furnishing Sector Skill Council, Managing Director & senior management of Shivalik Prints, Editor in Chief of Apparel Online magazine, IL&FS Skills team & candidates for training under this programme.
National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) which is responsible for recognization learning programme for the unregulated workforce of the country under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yojana in according to knowledge, skill, and aptitude. RPL is the best way to provide training through informal learning or learning through work as the equal level of education.
About IL&FS Skills under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
Il&Fs was Launched in 2007, at the behest of the industry that was looking for trained and work-ready manpower, this is India’s one of the largest vocational training company. Now the IL&SFS has able to provide training of 0.15 million people annually from the short time of starting as a pilot skill development program in the textile sector through 200+ skill development institutes across 24 states and 100+ job roles. IL&FS Skills, a joint initiative with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) has set the target to provide training to 40 lakh people by 2022.
