Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana get launched in Chhattisgarh
Good news for the home needy people of Chhattisgarh that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been finally launched in the state by the Chief Minister -” Dr Raman Singh” of the state. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana housing units will be constructed for over six lakh houseless people in Chhattisgarh in next three years under Prime Minister Rural Housing Scheme.He also laid foundation stone for 27 development works worth Rs 32.33 crore. Upto 10,624 flats will be constructed in Gariaband District of Chattishgarh according to Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh.
On the occasion of launch of the PMAY scheme in state chief minister also distributed house sanction letters to 5,400 house-less families He said that state government has hiked the labour charges from existing Rs 1,500 per standard sack to Rs 1,800 per standard.
CM Raman Singh launched the Central Govcernment’s ambitious scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ in Gariaband district. During the launching program, CM informed that Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya will be opened in the district very soon. He distributed the house sanction letters to 5400 families under the PM Gramin Awas Yojana. Besides this, CM also distributed a total of Rs 83.81 lakh worth materials and cheques to over 10,000 beneficiaries.
CM informed that the Chhattisgarh Government is providing solar irrigation pumps to 51,000 farmers under its Saur Ujala Scheme and announced that the state government will sanction another 1000 solar irrigation pumps for farmers in Gariaband district.
