Pm Scholarship scheme is one of the most important scheme in all scholarship schemes provided by the central government. Pm Scholarship scheme is a major scholarship scheme.Main aim of this scheme is to provide scholarship to needy 10th and 12th pass students who are looking for professional courses.
Note that only those students who are into professional courses such as Bachelor of Engineering(BE), Medical courses, Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science (BSC), Engineering, IIT will get the scholarship under Pradhan Mantri Scholarship scheme.
A total of 82,000 students will get benefit under this scheme . Out of 82,000 students 41,000 will be girls and other 41,000 will be boys.
Who can apply under Pm Scholarship Scheme
For Students – To apply under this scholarship scheme you must be eligible to apply . These are the following terms and conditions that are must required in order to aplly for the scheme.
a) Income of Parents (Both mother and father) should not be more than Rs 6,00,000/- per annum.
b) To get benefit under the scheme student must be into regular learning courses, distance learning is not applicable under this scheme.
c) Students must score 75% marks in 12th class – than under the scheme 1,000/- will be provided per month (i.e 10,000 in a year).
d) If a student obtained 85% marks in 12th class than he/she will get a scholarship of Rs 25,000 /- in a year
e) Also for students who are into a four/five year program/courses will get a scholarship of Rs 2000/- per month in their fourth or fifth year accordingly.
f) Also those students who will get scholarship under Pm Scholarship Scheme must have to obtained at-least 50% marks in their each semester exam.
g) If a student under this scholarship scheme unable to obtain 50% marks or get fail in any semester, his/her scholarship will be cancelled.
h) Age of the student should be in between 18 to 25 year in order to get benefit under this scheme.
How to apply for Pm Scholarship Scheme
Any student in India can get benefit under Pm Scholarship scheme .
a) One student can apply only for one course under Pm Scholarship Scheme.
b) If a student apply for more than one courses than his/her all scholarship will get cancelled.
c) Under this scheme scholarship is given by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) or Payment Bridge so that student will get all money in their bank account.
