PM Awas Yojana Amount can’t sent to Jandhan Account
The amount of the PM Awas Yojana will not be sent to the Jandhan account. To get the benefit of the scheme, the accounts will be converted to general account by filling up the KYC form. Under this scheme, 10571 accounts have been opened till date. The letter has also been sent by the project director, District Rural Development Agency to the selected beneficiaries for convert Jandhan account to normal accounts.
For the year 2016-17, the target of construction of 12508 houses under the PM Awas Yojana is in the Sonbhadara district of Uttar Pradesh. For this purpose, the beneficiaries are being selected in the village Panchayats of the whole district. So far accounts of 10571 selected beneficiaries have been opened and the amount for housing construction has to be sent in their accounts. But now the matter has been stuck on the Jandhan account.
One lakh 30 thousand rupees have to be given to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The amount of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be given in three instalments. The first instalment is Rs 44,000, the second instalment is Rs 76,000 and final instalment is 10,000 rupees. But the beneficiaries have Jandhan account, the amount cannot be sent to their account.
The reason is that in more than 50 thousand rupees can not be deposited in the Jandhan account. No more than one lakh rupees can not be deposited in one year and ten thousand rupees cannot be withdrawn at one time. Such accounts are only valid for one year. Keeping this in view, Project Director NN Mishra has directed all the selected beneficiaries that if their account is Jandhan, then they should convert it normally by filling the Know Your Customer (KYC) form. Otherwise, money can not be sent to the beneficiaries account and the house will not be built.
