Allottes of Flats under 1981 DDA Housing scheme has to wait one year more for the allotment of Flats under DDA Housing scheme 1981. As The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has again postponed the allotment of 1981 Rohini housing scheme. This postponing is done because of Supreme Court orders.Almost 14,500 people are to get flats under 1981 Rohini DDA Flat scheme.
“DDA Officials” said in a Public Meeting – ” That they almost needed a year to develop the sectors where the plots were to be allotted to nearly 14,500 people.”
Allot-tees waiting from 36 years wants flats to be in semi-developed areas of Rohini.
However, DDA Officials said that it was not possible as the Rohini land was acquired specially for that scheme in 1981.
This issue was also raised in July 2016. It seems that Delhi Development Authority is misleading people by law as it was supposed to hand over flats in July 2016 , but that time it failed to complete the construction work and develop the areas. During July 2016 most sectors where plots have been allotted have no basic facilities.
