The Madhya Pradesh government launched Medhavi Chhatra Yojana for the outstanding students of the state who want to pursue higher education in Madhya Pradesh. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that students should not face any problem when they apply for the scheme.

How to Apply for Medhavi Chhatra Yojana

The Online apply will begin from June 15.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scheme

Students should be Domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
More than 75 percentage marks in 12th exam in MP Board or
More than 85 percentage marks in CBSE Board
The annual income of the guardian should not more 6 lakh rupees.
Students must clear the entrance exam of the relevant college.

Documents Require for the Scholarship Scheme

Proof of Domicile (if students are from Government College, not needs Domicile proof.)
12th Mark sheet
Aadhar card ( if Aadhar card is not available now, students should be submitted within three months.)
Income Certificate

Which course Under the scheme

Engineering, Medical, Law, Nursing, Polytechnic, and all the Graduate level courses.

Note: The government will be paid only Government and listed Private College.

According to the official, the entire fees of Government College is paid by the state government. Actual fees or 1.5 lakh will be paid by the state government of the Private College. If students from the central or state-run Medical College on the basis of merit of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) then the government will be paid the entire fees. Entire fees will be paid by the government, if students go to the National Law Universities through CLAT, from IIM Indore or Planning and Architecture University, Bhopal.

The fees of the government college will be deposited in college account whereas the fees of Private College will be deposited in students account. The Technical Education and Skill Development Department works as a nodal department for the implementation of the scheme.
