Modi Govt. Gives 12,000 Crore for Skill Development Scheme

The Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme give a new direction to the youth of our country. Through the scheme, about 1.17 crore youth of the country has been benefitted. The scheme was approved by the Union Cabinet on 01.07.2015 and officially launched by the PM Narendra Modi on 15.07.2015 on World Youth Skills Day. The Mission has been developed to create attention across sectors and States in terms of skill training activities.

The Mission has been divided into three tiers, in which a governing council for policy guidance, a steering committee and a mission directorate (along with an Executive committee) as the executive support of the mission. To facilitate smooth functioning of the scheme the other institutions will support the mission directorate such as National Skill Development Agency (NSDA), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and Directorate General of Training (DGT). Although, seven sub- mission has been also working for achieving the overall objective of the Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme.
These are – Institutional Training, Infrastructure, Convergence, Trainers, Overseas Employment, Sustainable Livelihoods, and Leveraging Public Infrastructure.

Modi government has sanctioned Rs 12,000 crore for skill development of youth under the Prime Minister Skill Develop Scheme. 499 percent growth in Skill Development centre during the Modi’s government three years duration. In three year of Modi’s Government, the skill development centre has grown between 1736 to 8662.
The Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme boost the skill of youth of the country. Through the programmed, our country will grow. The scheme will reduce unemployment of our country.
