PMAY Karnataka: -Karnataka Government was planning to construct 7,00000 houses across the state for the homeless people, said by Chief Minister Siddharamaiah.
Yesterday in a ceremony of ground-breaking to construct 2,271 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Bhootale Pitch (Grounds) in Vidyaranyapuram. Siddharamaiah said that his government was functioning under the principle of social justice.
He said that his government had built 12,50000 houses over the past four years on the claiming that his Government had launched several schemes that cannot be found elsewhere. He also said the government has performed the ground-breaking for the construction of 2,271 houses in K.R. Constituency limits.
Housing Minister K. Krishnappa said in his address that only issuing the work order for the construction of 10,000 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana but he state government has constructed 12.5 lakh houses.
K.R. MLA M.K. Somashekar said that the houses to be built on Bhootale Pitch will be distributed among the shelterless Of K.R. assembly constituency.
Mayor M.J. Ravikumar, MLA Vasu, KSCB chairman R.V. Devaraj, ZP President Nayeema Sultana, MLC Chairman H.A. Venkatesh, KEA Chairman Siddaraju, Dy. Mayor Rathana Lakshaman, Corporators Purushotham, Sunil Kumar, J. Jagadish, Rathanamma Shantaveerendraswamy and Pushpalatha Chikkanna, former Safai Karmachari Commissioner Chairman Narayana and others were present.
