Haryana government has launched a new scheme for social and welfare purpose named as “Hamari Phulwari”. It has been launched by Woman and Child Development Department. The main aim of the Scheme to give a facelift to Anganwadi centers in the state. According to the official, in the first phase selected Anganwadi centers will be made more attractive, child-friendly and modern to attract people to send their children here for nonformal preschool education under the Anganwadi Adoption Programmes.
Under the scheme, the cash contribution will be provided for the facelift work and Anganwadi center will be watched and recovered by the panchayats, municipal councils, individuals and civic organizations. Under the scheme seeking contribution in cash from panchayat, municipal councils, individuals and civic organization. under the upgradation scheme, digital infrastructure, Anganwadi workers, helpers, and supervisors support capacity programme and early childhood education and care, nutrition, and health education will be provided.

Those who want to make contribution under this scheme, they would have to submit their application to the Women and Child Development Project Officer (WCDPO) concerned. An Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) would also be signed between the contributor and the WCDPO. People may contribute in various sectors such as health, teaching and learning equipment, physical infrastructure and capacity building and training programme. Implementation of Supplementary Nutrition Programme and strengthen Haryana Kanya Kosh also will be required contribution of people.
A recommendation certificate would be issued by the WCDPO and the contribution will be noticed in the departmental portal. The department will also organize a district-level function for the contributor.
