Govt. Released First Installment Under PMAY Madhya Pradesh
The first installment of the beneficiaries of Silwani tehsil of 46,00 beneficiaries Under PMAY Madhya Pradesh has allotted by the Government. The Beneficiaries is selected under Socio- Economic Caste Census -2011 in PMAY Madhya Pradesh. The government has transferred 40,000 thousand rupees to the beneficiaries accounts under Housing for all.
In the current financial year, Government has targeted to provide 15,000 houses Under the PMAY Madhya Pradesh, Which will be completed in the current Financial year 2017-18. The beneficiaries who receive the first installment is starting the construction of the house.
The construction of the house is supervised by the Sarpanch and the secretary of the village. The officials of the district and district panchayat are also looking after the progress of the houses by inspection from time to time.
The progress of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is 2417 beneficiaries got the second installment. In Rural areas, the PMAY is working on high Speed.
District CEO Praveen Iwane says Since the amount is going directly into the beneficiary’s account, so the work of the house is done by the beneficiary itself. The work of the officers and employees of the Sarpanch, Secretary, District and District Panchayat is to monitor the housing being made by the beneficiary and ensure further action.
Procedure of the PMAY
According to the rules of the Prime Minister’s housing scheme, housing is to be built in 280 square meters, which includes a room, a kitchen and a verandah. There is no obligation to make it, but in every situation, it must be obeyed in 280 square meters of housing. If the beneficiary does not make housing in such an area, then he will not be able to pay further installments of the PM housing.
Amount Will be Given in Three installments
According to the Prime Minister’s Dream Project, every beneficiary will be given a grant of Rs.1, 20 thousand rupees for housing. 40 – 40 thousand amount is given in all the three installments. The amount is going directly into the account of the concerned. Each installment will be given after presenting proof of construction. As per the proof, the concerned officer will have to give the photograph, location of the accommodation related to the concerned officer. Only after the satisfaction of the officer, the next installment will be released to the beneficiary.
According to District CEO Praveen Iwane, if the beneficiary does not make beneficial housing, and if the amount is spent on liquor or any other work, Must have to return the amont. The first notice will not be given to the beneficiaries who do not do all this. Even after this, legal action will be taken.
