PMAY Uttar Pradesh: – Uttar Pradesh government has decided to construct 1,00,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for urban poor people. The state government will take a loan of Rs 1,000 crore from HUDCO. The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved the proposal of build one lakh houses in the Council of Ministers on Tuesday.
In the meeting, many others important proposal have been approved. In the meeting the name of Samajwadi Kisan Bima Yojana has been changed, now it will be known as Mukhyamantri Kisan Bima Yojana. A new scheme will be also started to make barren, poorer and rugged land suitable for cultivation.
After the meeting of the Council of Ministers, State Government spokesman and energy Minister Shrikant Sharma said that 60% of the cost of houses being built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana would be borne by the state government and 40% would be borne by the state government.
Under this scheme, 1 lakh houses will be built this year. The state government will borrow Rs 1,000 crore from HUDCO for this scheme. Sharma said that the Council of Ministers named the socialist Kisan Bima Yojana as Mukhyamantri Kisan Bima.
