Free Lunch scheme launched in Telangana for Intermediate Students
Food is the basic need of all the human being. Therefore state government of Telangana has announced a new free lunch scheme for intermediate students in the state. This announcement of the free lunch scheme was made by the Telangana Minister for Education – “Kadiam Srihari” on Saturday, 4th February.Under this scheme the intermediate students in the state would be provided free lunch starting from the coming academic year under the scheme.
Which students will served under Free Lunch Scheme
There are about 2 Lakh intermediate students which will be benefited by the scheme.The state government has set aside the budget for the implementation of the free lunch scheme for intermediate students. The students studying in 444 junior colleges would be served free lunch under the scheme.
