Telangana state government has announced to Free Coaching Scheme for the minorities communities’ students. Under the scheme government would sponsor 100 meritorious students from the minority. The government will provide the scholarship for the preparation of civil service examination at the reputed coaching centers. The government will provide financial support and hostel facilities to the selected students.
100 students from minority have been shortlisted by the state government for the 2018 civil service examination. For the selection of five best coaching institute in Hyderabad, a committee was constituted by the state government. The committee will identify the coaching on the basis of proven track record, infrastructure, faculty and other elements. The selected students have options to choose the institute of their choice.
Free Coaching Scheme Key Point
Under the free coaching scheme, the government will provide Rs 5000 incentive for the rural students and Rs 2500 for the urban students. The government will also provide hostel facility to the minority students who have been selected for the scheme.
For the social welfare of the minority, the state government will take the decision in consultation with the Minority and Welfare Department of Telangana. The decision to provide free coaching is a novel scheme for the minority of the state.
Through the scheme, the state government provide an opportunity to minority students and improve their living standard. The scheme provides an opportunity to a good candidate to become a civil servant and opportunity to serve the nation.
In last year, around 75 students of the two Telugu state were qualified. The free coaching scheme would encourage more students to qualify the UPSC exam of the state.
