Delhi Health for All Mission – Continuing the concept of ‘Health for All’, the Delhi Government is now going to launch a free surgery scheme in private hospitals. Health Minister Satyendra Jain told that after the free test, the scheme of free surgery has also been implemented in private hospitals. Very soon the government is also bringing a scheme for free treatment of the people injured in road accidents in private hospitals. Health Minister said that under the Health for All Concept, the best medical facilities are being given to the people of Delhi. If the date of surgery in a government hospital is more than one month then that patient’s surgery will be done in private hospital. On Saturday, CM Arvind Kejriwal will inaugurate this scheme.
Trial of Free Surgery Completed under Delhi Health for All Mission
Health Minister Satyendra Jain told that the trial of free surgery has been completed in private hospitals. So far 230 surgeries have been done. They also include bypass surgery. The highest number of cases reported from government hospitals during the trial include Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital, Rao Tula Ram Hospital and Ambedkar Hospital. About 50 private hospitals will be able to get the facility of free surgery. Jain told that earlier, where government hospitals were waiting for one and a half to two years for the expensive test, the wait is over now. Free tests are being done immediately in private labs. Along with this, the implementation of the scheme of free surgery will also reduce weighting in government hospitals. On receipt of more than one month’s date, government hospitals can refer patients to a private hospital for surgery. This will be a free medical facility for all the people of Delhi.
Accident Victim will get Immediate Treatment under Delhi Health for All Mission
Health Minister Satyendra Jain told that the treatment of injured people in road accidents in Delhi will now be available in the private hospitals. The government will soon notify the list of hospitals and nursing homes, where the injured will receive timely treatment and better treatment. Jain said that the Supreme Court had also ordered that it is the responsibility of the government to save the lives of the injured in road accidents. After the instructions of CM Arvind Kejriwal, the Health Department has prepared the entire plan for the treatment of the injured. In this scheme of treatment for the injured persons in the road accident, they will also be included in the fire victims. If there is a fire, the injured will be treated in private hospitals. Simultaneously, Acid Attack Victim has been brought under the purview of this scheme and he will also be treated in private hospitals.
