While reviewing the development works of Raipur and Balodabazar, Batapara at a joint meeting on the last day of Lok Suraj Mission -2017, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that 6.23 lakh houses had been sanctioned under Chhattisgarh PM Awas Yojana out of 11 lakh homeless families in Chattisgarh as per the survey.
The CM also instructs the officials to provide kerosene to the card holders till the domestic gas connection is not provided under the Prime Minister ‘Ujjwala’ project.The chief minister said survey should be conducted in the slums and houses should be allotted as per the population.
The Chief minister called upon the other district officials to emulate the ‘Transparent RTI,’ model implemented in the Raipur district regarding the Right To Education in the district.The children belonging to the deprived sections of the society will be benefited from the facilities.
Thousands of ration cards had been allocated during the ‘Lok Suraj’ campaign and new names had also been added. Mr. Singh said that the new beneficiary should receive ration material from next month.
Mr. Singh said that the Chhatisgarh government would be increasing the Health Insurance money to Rs 50 thousand from the month of July while reviewing the National Health Insurance and Chief Minister Health Insurance Project.
Under the National Health Insurance Scheme, senior citizens would be given additional medical assistance of Rs 30 thousand. Chief Minister instructed the official to provide caste certificate to the students for government benefits. Special camps will be conducted to add the names of missing persons in the Smart Card list from July.
He sanctioned Composite Building at the Collectorate and a large Conference Hall. He said that Raipur is fast developing into a Smart City
and Smart Capital, so steps should be taken to keep the Capital clean and green.He also instructed the officials to prepare an Integrated Action Plan to tackle drinking water supply system and to treat the drainage water in the Capital.
