Chhattisgarh Govt. Launched Free Smart Phone Scheme
In Raipur, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh inaugurated the Chhattisgarh Skill Olympiad program organised on World Youth Skills Day at the Indoor Stadium. During the Olympiad, the youth of Raipur got the first prize in skill development competition and won a prize of Rs. 25000. In the program, Chief Minister Dr Ram Singh announced a scheme called “Sky”. Under the scheme, the free smart phone will be given to the 45 lakh people. Free Smart Phone Scheme will be implemented from May 6.
He said “Sabse Badhiya Chhathisgarhia” Chhattisgarh’s children are the best in the world. Children from different parts of the state were welcomed In the program. Seeing the presentation given by the children, the Chief Minister said that no power in the world can stop the state from moving ahead, the person can,t go ahead by studying only. His skill development is also important.
He said that the state celebrating World Youth Skills Day on 16th July of every year from 2016 which is a unique event in itself in the state. The first state in the country is Chhattisgarh which is legally trained for skill training. Livelihood College was the dream in every district of the state which has been completed, today. More than 3 lakh children are being trained in Livelihood colleges. It started in Dantewada, I want every young from the state get an opportunity to move forward.
