The central government approved the online application for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Now all the poor who do not have shelter can apply online for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi ambitious housing scheme.
Odisha government has announced rewards if housing beneficiary complete the work within four months, the government will give Rs 20,000 extra as an incentive. The state government has set a target to complete 6,00,000 houses under different rural housing scheme during the current financial year. This decision is taken in a review meeting of the rural housing schemes under PMAY which is led by the Chief Secretary AP Padhi.
PMAY Uttar Pradesh: – Yogi Adityanath said that the government of Uttar Pradesh is aiming to provide 10,00000 houses in rural areas and 2,00000 houses in Urban areas Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister of UP Yogi Aditynath said, ”We are aiming to provide 10 Lakh houses in rural and 2 Lakh houses in urban areas under PM Awas Yojana.”

PMAY Sonbhadra: Under the PM Awas Yojana, 9984 people of the district will be provided accommodation. People are being selected for housing, whose house is either kaccha or crumbling. So far about 3,200 people have been selected in eight blocks. The amount will be sent directly to the beneficiaries’ account for build house.
Now Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will construct the residential flats as per the specification prescribed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). According to DDA’s Principal commissioner (Land and Housing) J. P Agarwal, the uniformity in the construction standards of residential flats in the national capital will be fixed in the next scheme.
The state government of Tamil Nadu is going to build 2,66000 Affordable Houses with the partnership of private agencies. The affordable housing scheme will be built for the slum dwellers. The central government has approved 22,384 housing units by the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee meeting held recently. 12,000 more units for the slum dwellers will be built on land availability.
Under the PM Awas Yojana, people living in Slum Area will not be able to fill the online form, the online form will be filled visiting the house. Recently, the municipal corporation has received orders in this regard from the Central Government. This work will be handed over to the private agency who looking the work of the PM Housing Scheme. Employees of the agency will go to Slum Area and fill the online form on the spot. The tablet will be used to fill online forms.
Meneka Gandhi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development and MP from Pilibhit has written to the chief development officer (CDO) to include 730 homeless poor people in the list of those eligible for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) from 30 villages. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a housing scheme for the poor people. After aware of the matter, the CDO has directed the issue with proper consideration.
Under the Prime Minister’s Urban Housing Scheme, 9015 applications have been received from the Kurukshetra district so far whereas 800 applications under the door-to-door Survey have so far been received. Among these, 374 applications have been received from the Ladwa municipal area. The survey team is verifying the applications that those who have applied are beneficial or not to go to home to home.
