Canteen to open soon in Haryana under Antyodaya Anna Yojana

Antyodaya Anna Yojana – The State Government of Haryana is going to launch a food providing scheme for the poor of the state named ‘Haryana Antodaya Anna Yojana’. Under this scheme, the working labours will get a healthy food in Time. Canteens under the scheme will be open by the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board in order to provide food at affordable prices to construction workers and poor people. The Antodaya Anna Yojana was initially launched by Central Government of India in the year.

 Details of Food Under Antyodaya Anna Yojana
  • The food which will be provide under the scheme will be at highly subsidized rates.
  • Breakfast for 5 rupees per person.
  • Full-coarse meal for 10 rupees per person right at their work place.
  • Delivery of Food will be done through mobile vans

Under the scheme, the mobile vans will be posted in order to provide food to the poor at labour chowks. It was decided at a meeting of the Labour Department held in Chandigarh yesterday. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana Shri Manohar Lal Khattar presided over the meeting. He said that the scheme will be finalised within a month.
