2 Lakh House to be Constructed in UP Under PM Awas Yojana
PM Awas Yojana: – In Up, two lakh homeless people will get two-room pink coloured House in one year under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Kitchens and bathrooms will also be attached to the house. 3000 crores have been given for the PM housing scheme by the state government.
CM Yogi Adityanath himself completed the model of PM Awas Yojana in Lucknow. Housing Development has taken the loan from HUDCO. A demand of 3,000 crores for the house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 22 crores rupees have been given in the budget, which will be given in lieu of loan as the interest. To make the house, the municipal corporation will provide the land to the SUDA. There are four categories of PM Awas Yojana.
The subsidy will be available on taking the loan for the house.
Houses will be purchased at affordable prices through loan based subsidy. It will provide the subsidy for EWS, LIG and MIG/ MIG 2 categories Houses and expansion of house. The loan of 6 lakh, 9 lakh and 12 lakh will be available at 6.5 percent, 4 percent and 3 percent interest respectively.
Subsidy will be also given to building home on own land
If you build home on your own land, the subsidy will be available. The Central government will give Rs 100000 and state government gives Rs 67,000 to build the home.
Benefits will be available for Partnership programme
Houses will be built with the Private sector and public sector partnership. In this facility, the centre will provide Rs1,50000 and state will provide Rs 100000 per house.
Subsidy for personal construction
Subsidy for beneficiary-based personal housing construction will be available. The construction of new houses for the EWS category and the housing can be expanded in the scheme. For this categories, the Central government will give Rs1,50000 and the State government will give 100000 rupees per house.
